No offseason for career networking: Mingle all the Way on Dec. 14

When we think about the holidays, we think about family, relaxation, fun and, of course, food.

But the holiday season brings something else, too: the opportunity to network.

While networking during the holidays may not seem like a natural pairing, the holiday season — and the parties, events, dinners, and spirit that come with it — is a great time to meet new people, learn about their experiences, and build connections that will help you grow as an individual and professional.

So, how do you socialize professionally while still spreading the holiday sprit? The Penn State Alumni Association’s Alumni Career Services team can help.

Mingle All the Way, a webinar hosted by Alumni Career Services, features a variety of tactics — from sending holiday greeting cards to making connections at holiday parties — to help you express your holiday joy as you grow and strengthen your network.

Mingle All the Way is a free event for all Alumni Association members, and the next webinar will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14. Registration can be found here.

For questions, call Alumni Career Services at 814-865-LINK (5465).
