HERSHEY, Pa. — The annual Penn National Gaming Charity Golf Classic raised $375,000 for the Carlino Fund for Inflammatory Bowel Disease Research at the Penn State Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center. This year, the event has surpassed $4 million in overall support of Dr. Walter A. Koltun’s inflammatory bowel disease research.

Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is a type of colorectal disease that includes Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. There is no known cure for IBD, but Koltun and his team remain committed to the treatment of patients suffering from IBD and in researching new therapies for the illness.
