UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The School of Theatre will hold a public candlelight march, “Spread the Light Night,” on Friday, Nov. 18, beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the Walters Courtyard, in front of the Theatre Building.
The event will include the singing of “We Who Believe in Freedom” and “Let the Sun Shine In,” followed by a walk around campus with participants wearing lights and/or holding candles. Those attending should bring battery-operated lights and candles. Organizers say the goal is to allow students and faculty to leave for fall break “with a little peace and sense of community in our hearts.”
