The Multimedia and Print Center (MPC) at University Park campus will be hosting an open house for faculty, staff and students Nov. 1-2. Highlights will be informative tours of the full production facility, mini seminars, giveaways and refreshments. Guests can stop by to receive a free gift bag and enter to win one of several prizes, including a THETA 360-degree camera, Penn State basketball tickets, mahogany personalized desk sets, grab bags, gift cards and much more.
MPC staff will be on hand to greet visitors and discuss the printing, mailing, and addressing services the facility has offered to the Penn State community — including all 24 campuses — since the 1930s.

MPC is located on the north end of campus, at the Hostetter Business Services Building, (Campus Shuttle stop #17) near the Arboretum at Penn State.

10:00-10:20 a.m. On-line stationery set-up and ordering. Learn how to access and set up an online order and get an overview of University standards for stationery.
10:30-10:50 a.m. Digital print file submission to Copy Center. Learn how to access and set up a copy order in PSU Prints, MPC’s online system.
11:00-11:20 a.m. Visual identity standards. Get familiar with Penn State’s identity mark and how to use it.
11:30-11:50 a.m. Print Portal estimate requests. Learn how to access and set up an online estimate request for printing.
1-1:20 p.m. Preparing data files for mailing. Find out what you need to do to prepare a file for mailing and the importance of an accurate and up-to-date data file.
1:30-1:50 p.m. USPS and UPS updates and regulations. Get the most recent USPS and UPS updates for parcels.
2-2:30 p.m. Campus mail FAQs. Get answers to your questions about meter mail cards, campus mail, and courier pickup and delivery.
