Emergency medicine residents perform school health screenings

The Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center recently participated in the 2016 Emergency Medicine Day of Service, which provides an opportunity for emergency residents to give back to the community. On Sept. 28, residents performed more than 800 medical health screening exams on students at Steelton-Highspire Elementary School. The school has one nurse, who can now focus on other health needs of the children.
