Five Penn State choirs to present concert during Parents and Families Weekend

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Five Penn State choirs will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, in the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center as part of Parents and Families Weekend festivities. Mixed, men's, women's, and gospel choirs will each present an array of compositions ranging from the 16th century to the present. The concert will conclude with the audience joining more than 200 singers to perform the Penn State Alma Mater.

Performing choirs include the Concert Choir and the Penn State Glee Club, conducted by Christopher Kiver; Oriana Singers, conducted by Jayne Glocke; University Choir, conducted by Steven Hankle; and Essence of Joy, conducted by Anthony Leach.

Admission is free. This concert will also be livestreamed on the Penn State School of Music website.
