Sir Ken Robinson to deliver keynote at the 2017 TLT Symposium

Internationally recognized authority in creativity and innovation in education and business, Sir Ken Robinson, will deliver the keynote address at the Symposium for Teaching and Learning with Technology on Saturday, March 18, 2017.

One of the world’s leading speakers, Sir Ken has built a global audience via his engaging and inspiring TED Talks. Videos of his TED Talks have been seen by an estimated 300 million people in more than 150 countries making him the most viewed TED Talk presenter in the history of the organization.

The captivating style that makes him so popular as a TED presenter is why he is such a great addition to the Symposium, said Kyle Bowen, director of Teaching and Learning with Technology, which hosts the annual event. “Sir Ken is a dynamic speaker that explains complex concepts in smart and creative ways,” Bowen said. “His progressive ideas on the role of creativity in education is sure to provoke new conversations about transforming the student experience at Penn State.”

The Symposium for Teaching and Learning with Technology is an annual event that brings together people and ideas that transform education. This year’s event includes energizing keynote speakers, inspiring concurrent sessions featuring the work of Penn State’s learning innovators, and opportunities to build partnerships that transform learning.

The symposium will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. As always, there is no charge for attendees.
