Movin' On seeking input for 2017 music festival

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Student organizers for Movin' On, Penn State's annual music festival, are seeking input from students for the 2017 event.

Students may answer a survey and submit suggestions online at http://bit.ly/2017ArtistSurvey. Students may choose up to eight artists from various genres and have the option of writing in two artists.

Deadline for submission is midnight on Friday, Oct. 7.

The free spring event is now in its 42nd year and is designed as a celebration for graduating students.

Previous artists featured at Movin' On include Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes, Run DMC, Jimmy Eat World, Bowling for Soup, Lupe Fiasco, O.A.R., Ludacris, MGMT, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean and Passion Pit. Movin' On 2016 featured Sammy Adams, MisterWives, X Ambassadors, Nelly and Walk the Moon.
