Proposals sought for Immersive Experiences Symposium at University Park

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State will host its first Immersive Experiences Symposium from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, in Heritage Hall in the HUB-Robeson Center at University Park. The event will bring together members of industry, government, and the Penn State community to showcase the incredible spectrum of virtual (VR), augmented (AR), and mixed reality (MR) work being conducted at Penn State. Participants will have an opportunity to explore collaborative opportunities; promote their work and research in this space; and network with the pioneers, researchers and enthusiasts around some of today's most immersive technologies.

The call for exhibitions to present at the Immersive Experiences Symposium is currently open to any Penn State faculty, staff or students exploring VR, AR, or MR technologies. Limited presenter space is available. All proposals must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Monday Oct. 3.
