'Huddle with the Faculty' discussion to focus on innovative brain repair

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Alumni Association's Huddle with the Faculty series continues Saturday, Sept. 17, with Gong Chen, biology professor and Verne M. Willaman Chair in Life Sciences at Penn State. 

Chen will lead a presentation titled "Healing themselves: Brain repair with patients' own brain cells."

Admission is free, and no reservations are needed.

Huddle with the Faculty takes place at The Nittany Lion Inn on the Saturday morning of each home football game during the 2016 season. Complimentary continental breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m., and the presentation starts at 9 a.m. Alumni, parents, students, friends and guests are welcome.

Huddle with the Faculty is presented by the Penn State Alumni Association and sponsored by The Village at Penn State with support from The Nittany Lion Inn and Penn State Press.
