UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A robbery was reported to University Police at 8:45 p.m. on Sept. 5. The reported robbery occurred between 4 and 4:05 a.m. on Sept. 2 near the intersection of Shortlidge and McKean roads. This area is located in the south portion of campus, adjacent to the South Halls complex.
The victim, a student, reported an unknown black male approached him and demanded items from his person. The male suspect displayed a black handgun during the robbery.
