WebAccess stabilized, monitoring continues

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- WebAccess, the University’s online single sign-on system, appeared to be operating normally as of Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 23. Technical teams are continuing to monitor systems and work through issues that occurred Monday when WebAccess operated slowly and at times was completely unavailable.

To ensure students, faculty and staff members are able to access Canvas and ANGEL, the two systems have been removed from behind WebAccess. As a result, users might need to log in an additional time when moving between Canvas and ANGEL and to or from other Penn State services, such as WebMail or Box, that are still behind WebAccess. Users can continue to use their Penn State user IDs and passwords to log in to Canvas and ANGEL.

Updates will be shared in Penn State News and via various University social media channels.
