UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Homecoming executive committee announced the Color Run Penn State will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 25.
Registration for the event, now in its fourth year on campus, is now open. Ticket cost is $29.99 for the first 1,000 people.
Nicknamed the "Happiest 5K on the Planet," the Color Run was founded in March 2011 as an event to promote healthiness and happiness. The race, which has occurred more than 170 times and in over 30 countries, splashes runners with color throughout their run.
