Beginning Aug. 29, LionPATH will become the official student information system at Penn State.

There are a number of resources for LionPATH users with questions about its functionality — including tutorials and announcements for students, parents and faculty/staff. These can all be located by visiting the LionPATH Launch Page. It is recommended that students, parents and faculty/staff bookmark this website for future reference.

Individuals experiencing technical issues with LionPATH can email lionpathhelp@psu.edu for assistance.

Graduating this fall?

Students intending to graduate at the end of the fall 2016 semester will need to apply for graduation in LionPATH (previously referred to in eLion as “Intent to Graduate”) between Aug. 15 and Sept. 9. Undergraduate students in concurrent majors must apply for graduation in each major separately.

For assistance on how to apply for graduation, visit https://tutorials.lionpath.psu.edu/public/ApplyGrad/.

LionPATH unavailable during academic data transition

Due to the final transition of student data from ISIS/eLion to LionPATH, students will be unable to access LionPATH from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27. Students will be unable to access both the desktop and mobile versions of the system during this time. This is the final transition of student data, with LionPATH becoming the official student system of record for Penn State on Aug. 29.

Fall waitlist end date

Each semester students should monitor their waitlist to avoid automatically enrolling in unwanted classes. To assist students, fall waitlist courses will be removed at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27.

Degree audits in LionPATH

Undergraduate degree audits will be available in LionPATH on Monday, Aug. 29. Prior to that date, students should access the degree audits in eLion.

To access their degree audit, students should choose “Academic Requirements” in the Academics section of their Student Center. Students who want to explore an alternative major/minor can also try out the “What-If Report” in the Academics section.

Tutorials on the degree audit will be posted at http://lionpathsupport.psu.edu/help/undergraduateparent/ when the degree audit functions go live.

Summer courses and grades

Summer courses and grades will be visible in LionPATH on Aug. 29. Students should refer to eLion prior to that date for the most accurate information regarding their summer courses, late drops and grades.

Transcripts

Transcript ordering services will be unavailable beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26, until 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 29. After that time, transcripts must be ordered through LionPATH. Tutorials on transcript ordering will be posted at http://lionpathsupport.psu.edu/help/undergraduateparent/ when the transcript function goes live.
