UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Rodney Kirsch, senior vice president for Development and Alumni Relations at Penn State, has agreed to remain in his position through the end of September as the search for his successor continues.

Penn State President Eric Barron said the national search for the University’s next vice president for Development and Alumni Relations is making progress after being launched in late spring, with finalist interviews expected to take place in early September.

Kirsch originally announced in March that he would be leaving his position Aug. 31 after 20 years of service to Penn State.
