Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center’s Dr. Jason Woloski has received the American Academy of Family Physicians Award for Excellence in Graduate Medical Education.
Of the 3,500 eligible family medicine residents across the country, only 12 were selected for this esteemed designation.
Woloski is the sole resident honored throughout the northeast and mid-Atlantic states. He was selected, in part, because of his service as resident chair of the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians, resident representative to the American Medical Association House of Delegates and as administrative resident; his efforts to inform the public about primary care; and his research.
Woloski will be formally honored in September at the AAFP Family Medicine Experience in Florida.
