Police investigating damaged sculpture near Pasquerilla Center

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — It has been reported to Penn State University Police that a steel sculpture located on the south side of the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center was damaged between 11:30 a.m. May 31 and 7:55 a.m. June 2. The sculpture, a black metal structure standing approximately 6 feet tall, sustained significant damage. 

University Police are seeking information on the person or persons responsible for the damage. Anyone with information should contact Penn State University Police at 814-863-1111 or Centre County Crime Stoppers at tip@centrecountycrimestoppers.org. Persons providing information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 from Centre County Crime Stoppers.

University Police would also like to remind the community to:

  • Report suspicious persons to police immediately.
  • Avoid traveling alone at night. Walk with a friend or use the Safe Walk Service at 814-865-WALK.
