Center for the Performing Arts to hold season reveal June 23

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. —The Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State will hold its 2016-17 season reveal at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, in Eisenhower Auditorium. Center Director George Trudeau will reveal the 27 performances slated for the upcoming season, which will feature touring Broadway musicals, classical and world music, dance, contemporary circus, jazz, family and other special events. Doors will open to the public at 5 p.m.

Attendees will learn about membership benefits, see videos and photos of upcoming performers, receive information about buying tickets, have a chance to win tickets and learn how to save money with a Choice series. Light refreshments will be served.

Tickets for Center for the Performing Arts presentations — on stage September through April at Eisenhower and Schwab auditoriums — go on sale:

  • June 27 to Center for the Performing Arts members;
  • June 29 to Choice buyers (four or more eligible presentations purchased in one transaction at a 10 percent discount);
  • June 30 to groups (10 or more patrons buying together for a 15 percent discount);
  • July 11 to the public.
