Unwind with vintage game board play days through May 6

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — This week Penn State students at University Park can take a break from studying with a Batman board game break. While on the first floor of Paterno Library for the Libraries' DeStress Fest activities in the Mann Assembly Room, they can visit the Special Collections Library, 104 Paterno Library, and its collection of vintage board games, ranging from the 19th century to the 1960s.

Visitors can try playing a 19th-century "Game of the Goose" or a helping Batman and Robin Capture the Joker in facsimile versions of vintage Batman games from the collection of book-jacket designer and Penn State Distinguished Alumnus Chip Kidd.

For more information, contact Sandra Stelts, 814-863-5388 or sks5@psu.edu.
