Grab some cowboy boots and hats, overalls, bandanas, jeans, plaid shirts, bolo ties or other country attire, and head to Penn State York’s free late-night breakfast, to be held from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Monday, May 2, in the conference center of the Main Classroom Building. Late-night breakfast is free to members of the Penn State York community.

Penn State York faculty and staff will serve a variety of breakfast foods, from bacon and eggs to pastries, muffins, coffee and more. The late-night breakfast has become a popular event on campus and provides a way for faculty and staff to connect with students and help them relieve stress as they prepare for finals.

Those who attend are encouraged to dress in county style and will have the opportunity to show off their riding skills on a mechanical bull. In addition to enjoying plenty of food, students can socialize and will hear from country artist Tyler King.

Late-night breakfast is sponsored by the Penn State York University Programming Board through funds from the campus student activity fee and the Penn State York Office of Student Affairs.

Penn State York students enjoyed plenty of breakfast food during the late-night breakfast in December which featured an '80s theme. The breakfast, set for 7:30-9:30 p.m. on Monday, May 2, is going a little bit country and asks participants to dress in country attire. In addition to food, the event offers those in attendance an opportunity to socialize, listen to county music artist Tyler King, and show off their riding skills on a mechanical bull. Credit: Barbara Dennis / Penn StateCreative Commons
