Art show features student artwork through May 6

Penn State York's Visual Arts Club is sponsoring a student art show featuring 38 works by 15 students. The show continues through May 6 on the mezzanine levels of the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center on campus. Credit: Barbara Dennis / Penn StateCreative Commons

The artwork of 15 Penn State York students is featured through May 6 on the mezzanine levels of the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center at Penn State York. The show is free and open to the public. Thirty-eight original pieces are displayed in the show. The exhibit is sponsored by the Penn State York Visual Arts Club.

Pieces in the exhibition are done in a variety of mediums, including acrylic, ink and marker, graphite, and steel and wood. Some works are for sale and range in price from $20 to $450.

Student artists showing their work are Will Anstine, York, Pennsylvania; Cheyenne Chandler, York, Pennsylvania; Hunter Einsig, York, Pennsylvania; Katie Kline, Red Lion, Pennsylvania; Koven Leatherman, New Oxford, Pennsylvania; Jaiman (Wendy) Li, Chongging, China; Jingyuan (Echo) Li, Xi’an, China;  Jingy (Queens) Lu, Shanghai, China; Sarah Matarese, York, Pennsylvania; Hannah Mong, York, Pennsylvania; Laura Ohl, Jefferson, Wisconsin; Isabella Ridolfi, Rosedale, Maryland; Drew Smith, Dover, Pennsylvania; Casey Weber, San Siefo, California; and Zixin Zheng, Hangzhou, China.

Hours for the exhibition are Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
