Graduation is the culmination of years of hard work and recognition for a job well done, and what better way to remember time spent at Penn State than with a photo at the Nittany Lion Shrine? The shrine, the most photographed location on campus, ranks No. 1 on most graduates' lists of must-have photos.

Iconic campus shots like the shrine top the list of photos for commemorating graduation, but there also are those more unique photographic opportunities. Graduates, donning their caps and gowns, oftentimes weave themselves into the Armillary Sphere -- which sits in front of Old Main -- pose with the "playful" children sculpture outside of the Hintz Family Alumni Center, drop by the Berkey Creamery or visit their academic college to put a distinctive, personal spin on their graduation photo spread.

Other popular campus spots for graduation photos include the Old Main lawn and steps, The Pennsylvania State University sign in front of Beaver Stadium, the new "We Are" sculpture, Pattee Mall and the Allen Street gate.

A final recommendation for graduation photos would involve incorporating the beautiful landscaping around central campus or the Penn State Arboretum. The brilliant flowering trees and ground cover can make the perfect backdrop or foreground for some unforgettable images to remember the college years.
