LGBT interdisciplinary academic symposium to be held April 22

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — As part of its 25th anniversary celebration, the Penn State Commission on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Equity (CLGBTE) will sponsor an LGBT interdisciplinary academic symposium. The symposium will showcase current LGBT research and instruction conducted at Penn State by faculty and graduate students from across the University.

Gilles Herrada, author of "The Missing Myth: A New Vision of Same-Sex Love," will be the keynote speaker at the symposium, which will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. on April 22 in the Hintz Family Alumni Center.
