YORK, Pa. — Baseball season is in full swing, and the Penn State York men’s baseball team will have the opportunity to play at PeoplesBank Park, home of the York Revolution, in a doubleheader at 2 and 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, against Penn State Mont Alto. Both games are free and open to the public.

"Our guys are extremely grateful for the opportunity to be playing at PeoplesBank Park,” said Jeff Barkdoll, head baseball coach and assistant athletic director at Penn State York. “It is certainly our hope that when it gets right down to it, these two games will have some meaning with seeding for the conference postseason, and playing our rivals from Mont Alto, we hope to have a sizable attendance for the game,” he said. “Any time you have the opportunity to play in a facility such as PeoplesBank Park, as a player, it’s something you never forget."Penn State York also played in the stadium during the 2014 and 2015 seasons, and it is an event the campus hopes to be able to make an annual tradition. York offers four collegiate sports in addition to baseball: men’s and women’s basketball, soccer, and women’s volleyball.
