Lehigh Valley Blue & White Society to host Penn State Pride Week

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The Penn State Lehigh Valley chapter of the Blue & White Society will host a weeklong celebration of Penn State pride from April 11-14. Each day throughout the week will have a theme to display Penn State spirit.

Monday, April 11: PS I <3 U DayStudents are encouraged to wear the original Penn State colors of pink and black.

Tuesday, April 12: Bleed with love Penn StatersStudents will be given red hearts to show support for the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event.

Wednesday, April 13: PS I Thank You DayStudents can write and sent thank you cards to students, faculty and staff.

Thursday, April 14: Penn State Pride DayStudents are asked to wear their favorite Penn State attire and are invited to attend the PSiheartU Cookout and Open Mic Night from 4:30 to 7 p.m. near the Lion Shrine at the campus in Center Valley.

Students are invited and encouraged to participate all week. The official hashtag for the week will be #PSiheartU.

Students who are not members of the Blue & White Society and would like to attend the events are encouraged to sign up for a membership with Pam Fleck in the Student Affairs Office, Room 218, or by email at paf5197@psu.edu

The Blue & White Society is the student membership of the Penn State Alumni Association and is the largest registered student organization on campus. Its mission is to enhance student life at Penn State through diversified experiences with an emphasis on service to the community, civic leadership, tradition and outreach while establishing the foundation of a lifelong commitment to the University as members of the Alumni Association.
