UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Hall of Fame head coach Russ Rose has announced that Penn State women's volleyball is set to host a coaches clinic April 8-9 at Rec Hall.

Designed to offer comprehensive education for coaches in all facets of volleyball, the two-day clinic features on-court instruction specifically focused on women's volleyball. Coaches will also be able to actively engage in a behind-the-scenes look at team training and preparation of the seven-time NCAA women's volleyball program. The clinic also includes a classroom session with Coach Rose and the staff.

The clinic fee covers instruction, materials and a social following the first day of instruction. Interested coaches can register and submit payment online by credit card or e-check here. Final registration for the clinic will be held at Rec Hall Friday, April 8 from 2-3 p.m. in room 155. Coach Rose and the rest of the staff will be available to answer questions and interact with participating coaches.

Registration, accommodation details and further clinic information is available here.

Led by head coach Russ Rose, the Nittany Lion women's volleyball staff features associate head coach Salima Rockwell and new assistant coach Craig Dyer. Together, the three have experience guiding teams to a total of nine NCAA DI national championship titles, including eight on the women's side and one on the men's side.

In his 37th year at the helm of the program, Rose guided the 2015 women's volleyball team to its 35th consecutive appearance in the NCAA tournament this season. The Nittany Lions are one of only two programs to compete in all 35 NCAA tournaments. He also led Penn State to its 13th consecutive appearance in the NCAA regional semifinals. Rose has also mentored at least one All-American in 36 of 37 seasons, including four from the 2015 team.
