Pennsylvania State Senators David Argall (Republican-Schuylkill/Berks) and Judy Schwank (Democrat-Berks) will visit Penn State Berks for a “Lunch with Legislators” program, organized by the Penn State Berks Student Government Association. The program will be held from 1–2 p.m. in the Perkins Student Center Multipurpose Room. This event is open to the entire campus community, and a light lunch will be served.
“The purpose of the event is to give students the chance to hear about the roles legislators have in funding higher education and Penn State, as well as how government interacts with such institutions. Students will also have the opportunity to ask any questions they have for the senators,” explained Chris Dent, government affairs chair of the Berks Student Government Association.
