York men's basketball remains in contention for fourth straight PSUAC title

YORK, Pa. — Penn State York’s men’s basketball team remains in the hunt for its fourth consecutive Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) championship with an 86-68 win over Penn State Worthington Scranton on Feb. 17 in the first round of the playoffs.

York, the No. 3 seed, travels to Penn State Fayette to take on the No. 2 seed at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20. The winner of that contest will play in the PSUAC championship game.

York's Mike Coleman, a Northeastern High School product, hit 8 of 9 shots from 3-point range and scored 28 points in the victory. Red Lion graduate Trent Thomas added 17 points and Dallastown graduate Judd Gemmill chipped in 10 points for York.
