MCKEESPORT, Pa. — Stephen Sherwin has been hired as Penn State Greater Allegheny's new director of information technology. Sherwin is a graduate of the information sciences and technology program at the Greater Allegheny campus and has more than 12 years of experience in the information technology field. Sherwin has been employed as solutions architect manager for Advanticom Inc. in Pittsburgh since August 2011, and he has also worked at LANtek Computer Services and Thermo Fisher Scientific.
