ERIE, Pa. — The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team stretched its win streak to 15 games with a 37-point victory — the team's most dominant of the season — over Franciscan.

The campus' volleyball and track and field teams also were in action last week. Here are the highlights.

Men's basketball

Penn State Behrend 81, Alfred State 45

Penn State Behrend 85, Franciscan 48

More than half of the shots the Lions made against Franciscan were taken at or beyond the 3-point line. The win — the team's most lopsided of the season — was the 15th consecutive victory for the Lions.

Women's basketball

Penn State Behrend 71, Franciscan 59

Ali Goetz, a freshman from Mars, scored a season-high 23 points against Franciscan. She missed just one shot from the field.

Men's volleyball

Penn State Behrend 3, Illinois Tech 0

Trenton Munk, a junior from Baden, had 11 kills on 18 attempts. He also had a team-high six blocks.

Men's track and field

Matt McWilliams, a senior from Waterford, set a school record in the mile run with a win at the Boomer Invitational at Ithaca College. He finished in 4:19.07.

Women's track and field

Paige Allen, a junior from Butler, placed fourth in the 60-meter dash at the Boomer Invitational at Ithaca College. She finished in 7.95 — 0.01 seconds off her personal best for the season.
