ERIE, Pa. — The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team has won its last 11 games. The women's basketball, men's volleyball and men's and women's track and field teams also were in action last week. Here are the highlights.

Men's basketball

Penn State Behrend 69, Hilbert 58

Penn State Behrend 69, D'Youville 47

Penn State Behrend 71, La Roche 59

The men's team has won 11 straight games. Zane Hackett, a senior from Brookville, scored 17 points and had 15 rebounds in the win over La Roche, the only team to beat the Lions this season.

 

Women's basketball

Penn State Behrend 59, Hilbert 56

Penn State Behrend 73, D'Youville 53

La Roche 71, Penn State Behrend 63

 

Men's track and field

Dylan Buffington, a sophomore from Brookville, and Matt McWilliams, a senior from Waterford, broke school records in the 800-meter run at the Spire North Invite. Buffington finished second, with a time of 1:55.23. McWilliams placed third, with a time of 1:55.70.

 

Women's track and field

Paige Allen, a junior from Butler, had an Eastern College Athletic Conference qualifying time at the Spire North Invite. She finished the 60-meter dash in 7.96 seconds, placing second.

 

Men's volleyball

Penn State Altoona 3, Penn State Behrend 2

Penn State Behrend 3, Thiel 2

Trenton Munk, a junior from Baden, had a career-high 19 kills in the loss to Altoona. He had 11 more in the match against Thiel.
