CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The Stand for State committee at Penn State Lehigh Valley is hosting a photo contest encouraging students to go around campus snapping selfies with faculty and staff who will be sporting green dot pins during launch week of the new Stand for State program. The green dots represent the positive things people can do as bystanders to keep everyone around them safe. The contest will run from noon on Tuesday, Jan. 26, to noon on Thursday, Jan. 28.

A selfie is a self-portrait photograph typically taken with a camera phone or digital camera. Penn State Lehigh Valley students, faculty, staff and alumni are encouraged to pose for their own camera and share the image on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter using the hashtags #PSULVGreenDot and #StandForState.

Winners will be contacted directly at their Penn State email address. For more information, contact Leyna Belinsky at 610-285-5023 or lcb20@psu.edu.
