Nursing instructor to speak on 'Buzzed or Drunk?' Are you too impaired to drive?

Shenango Lecture Series presentation to be held at the Community Library

Penn State Shenango will continue its 2015-16 Faculty Lecture Series with Instructor in Nursing Maureen Dunn who will speak at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the Community Library of the Shenango Valley on the corner of East State St. and Shenango Ave. in in downtown Sharon, Pennsylvania. The title of her lecture is “Buzzed or Drunk? Are you impaired to drive?" The event is free and open to the public.Dunn teaches courses for the campus’ RN to BS Nursing program, including nursing assessment, nursing informatics, and adult critical care. She is currently working on her doctorate of nursing practice from Carlow University. Her expertise is in community/public health nursing and cultural diversity.During her tenure as director of education services and faculty at Sharon Regional Health System and now as an instructor at Penn State, Dunn has edited several cultural diversity, critical care, and medical surgical books.For more information, contact the Penn State Shenango Academic Affairs Office at 724-983-2825.
