Penn State Lehigh Valley men's basketball team stumbles at Mont Alto

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Despite a strong start to the game, the Penn State Lehigh Valley men's basketball team dropped a Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) matchup to Penn State Mont Alto, 91-45, on Tuesday, Jan. 12, in Mont Alto. 

Lehigh Valley scored the first two baskets of the game and led the majority of the first half until Mont Alto went on a 14-0 run to end the half with a 38-23 lead. Lehigh Valley struggled from the floor in the second half, shooting only 23 percent. Junior Jordan Young led Lehigh Valley with a team-high 16 points, five steals and three assists. Senior Brandon Holland chipped in with eight points.

The team's next game is at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20, against Penn State Brandywine at Cedar Crest College in Allentown. Admission is free for all home games.
