UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Student Nittany Lion Club members can purchase tickets through Student Account Manager to attend the Nittany Lions’ matchup with Georgia in the 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl beginning at 7 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 11. Students that are not Student NLC members can purchase tickets to the Jan. 2 meeting in Jacksonville beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office.

The Nittany Lions and Bulldogs will be meeting for just the second time, with the other contest resulting in a 27-23 Penn State victory in the 1983 Sugar Bowl to capture the program’s first national championship. Penn State, Georgia and Oklahoma are tied for third nationally with 28 bowl victories, and the Nittany Lions are No. 2 in bowl winning percentage with a 28-15-2 postseason record (64.4).

Each student will be permitted to purchase two $85 tickets and must present a valid Penn State ID+ card to secure a ticket. Cash, credit and Lion Cash will be accepted Saturday at the in-person sale. Tickets sold on Saturday will be issued at the time of purchase.

Students buying during the SNLC pre-sale can pay with credit or debit card only. Tickets purchased by SNLC members will be available for pick up Saturday, Dec. 12, from 8-11 a.m. at the “SNLC Pickup Line” at the Bryce Jordan Center. Tickets can also be picked up Dec. 14-18 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Jordan Center. All tickets must be picked up by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18.
