UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State College of Earth and Mineral Sciences has named Ricardo Henrique Sosa as its fall 2015 student marshal. He will lead the college’s procession of graduates during Penn State's undergraduate commencement ceremony on Dec. 19 at the Bryce Jordan Center. Sosa selected Antonio Nieto, associate professor of mining engineering, to escort him as faculty marshal.

Sosa is graduating with highest distinction with a bachelor’s degree in energy business and finance and a bachelor’s degree in economics. Sosa’s mother, Maria Corina Machado, and father, Ricardo Sosa, from Caracas, Venezuela, plan to attend the ceremony to celebrate their son’s achievements.
