UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The University Faculty Senate will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, in 112 Kern Building on the University Park campus. Agenda items include presentation and discussion on:
- A report, "Professional Ranks, Reviews and Promotion Paths for Penn State's Fixed-Term Faculty."
- "Curricular and Co-Curricular Learning Pathways to Promote the Well-Being and Safety of First-Year Undergraduate Students." A special committee was formed following the work earlier this year of the University's Task Force on Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment, which made 18 recommendations including requiring freshmen to take course "that explores issues of student well-being and safety, with an emphasis on building positive relationships and preventing sexual misconduct and alcohol misuse."
