UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Smeal College of Business has named Sandra Clemmer and Jake Ray as directors of client development for Penn State Executive Programs, the executive education provider within Smeal. Ray will also serve as director of client development for the college’s Executive MBA Program in Philadelphia.

Clemmer comes to Smeal from Penn State Outreach, where she performed director roles in sales strategy, operations, and online professional education. In addition, she has served as an account executive and sales training manager for Boise Office Solutions (now OfficeMax).

Ray most recently worked for Edward Jones as a talent acquisition manager. Throughout his career he has worked with corporate leaders to aid their talent acquisition and professional development needs. Ray formerly served as managing director of the Smeal Executive MBA Program.

“Clemmer and Ray bring invaluable experience in many facets of professional development, education, and training, as well as a broad range of interaction among executives. They will be instrumental in the realization of Smeal’s effort to provide exceptional opportunities in its ever-expanding portfolio of leadership and professional development engagements,” said Maria Taylor, managing director of Penn State Executive Programs.
