Accounting graduate Bruce A. Gray is Behrend's 2015 Alumni Fellow

ERIE, Pa. — Oil City native Bruce A. Gray, a senior vice president at Bank of America, has been named Penn State Behrend’s 2015 Alumni Fellow. Gray attended college at the Behrend campus and graduated from Penn State in 1980 with a degree in accounting.

The Alumni Fellow program is administered by the Penn State Alumni Association in cooperation with the University’s academic colleges, campuses and the Office of the President. Alumni are nominated by a college or campus as leaders in their professional fields and accept an invitation from President Eric J. Barron to return to campus to share their expertise with students, faculty and administrators.

Gray will meet with Penn State Behrend students on Monday, Nov. 9.

Gray works with Bank of America clients who are commercial real estate developers or commercial real estate private equity funds, providing term loans and construction financing for office and industrial buildings, warehouses, condominiums, apartments, retail centers and hotels. He has primary responsibility for fulfilling the credit needs of commercial real estate developers based in the New York City metropolitan area.

A longtime volunteer in Penn State Behrend’s Black School of Business, Gray serves on its Board of Visitors and frequently mentors students. He hosts biweekly meetings in which he helps finance and accounting students analyze corporations using publicly available financial information, and has been the featured speaker at the school’s annual Business Bridge event and in its Finance Speaker Series.

Gray and his wife, Karen, live in Old Tappan, New Jersey.
