UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — This week, we recognize four Penn Staters who go above and beyond what's asked of them in their work at the University. Thank you to:

Lori Robinson, at Penn State Altoona, whose nominator wrote: "Thank you, Lori, for always going the extra mile when it comes to us international students! If it wasn't for you, we'd be lost! Your constant reminders of due dates are lifesaving. I'm speaking for all of us international students when I say this: sorry for all the questions and emails!"

Wesley Stauffer, at Penn State Harrisburg, who received two nominations: "Wes goes the extra mile – he took the time to meet with people who work in our building to get their input on ideas to improve the looks of the area around our building (Church Hall). He has the place looking great and works to relate positively with all he comes in contact with," and, "Wes transformed the landscape into an inviting vista. His skills made the area safer for walkers. He improved plant care, and more employees exercise impacting employee health. Wes has a thoughtful, inclusive attitude. He led of his own initiative discussions so employees contribute to campus beautification."

Amy Roche, at Penn State Berks, whose nominator wrote: " 'Thank You' to Amy for all of the extra hours and support that she gives to the faculty. She truly goes above and beyond helping us design and carry out online and blended hybrid courses. I, for one, could never complete my tasks without her support."

Christine Ostrosky, at Penn State Hazleton, whose nominator wrote: "Faculty, staff and students know that they can count on her to support their initiatives and meet their needs. Students (and staff) know that she always has candy to sweeten their day. She is the epitome of student-centeredness and takes administrative support to new levels daily."
