Horn Ensemble to present concert in memory of Lauren Bajorek

The Penn State Horn Ensemble will present a tribute concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, in the Eisenhower Chapel on the University Park campus, celebrating the life of former Penn State student Lauren Bajorek. Admission is free.

The performance -- honoring Lauren, a member of the horn studio -- features "In Memoriam" by Paul Basler, a composition which has been dedicated to Lauren's life by the composer. In addition to the Horn Ensemble, special guest performers are Sarah Schouten, Ethan Ruble, and collaborative pianist Kathy Gattuso Cinatl. The Horn Ensemble is directed by horn professor Lisa Bontrager, assisted by graduate student Grace Shafer. The conductor of the Horn Ensemble is Benjamin Firer.
