MONTA ALTO, Pa. — On Oct. 21, the Multicultural Extravaganza and Entertainment Treat, or MEET, at Penn State Mont Alto will feature a full day of activities, from an Indian dinner and a movie to salsa dance lessons.

The day’s schedule starts with an exhibit of artifacts, clothes and music from nearly 30 countries at the Mill Café, which will be available from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The dinner is Indian cuisine with a viewing of “The Lunch Box” from 5-7 p.m. Sign up is required because spots are limited. Finally, there will be salsa lessons and a performance by Tabitha Hitcheye-Holliday, a prominent Latin dance teacher from 7-8:15 p.m.

MEET is organized and sponsored by Penn State Mont Alto’s newly established Office of International and Intercultural Programs, and events are free and open to the public.
