Office of Planning and Institutional Assessment to hold quality advocates events

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Quality Advocates Network, sponsored by the Penn State Office of Planning and Institutional Assessment, is an informal group that meets several times each semester to share information to advance improvement and innovation.

The following sessions are scheduled for fall 2015:

“There Must be Some Way Outta Here: How to Make Audit, Risk Management and the Legal Office Work for You”10:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 508 Rider BuildingSpeakers: Stephen Dunham, vice president and general counsel; Daniel Heist, director, internal audit; and Gary Langsdale, University risk officer

“From the President’s Perspective”1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 508 Rider BuildingSpeaker: Eric Barron, Penn State president

“The University Strategic Plan”9 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 508 Rider BuildingSpeaker: Nick Jones, executive vice president and provost

Penn State campuses interested in participating via video conference should contact the Office of Planning and Institutional Assessment. There is no charge for these events and the sessions are open to all Penn State students, faculty and staff members.
