Penn College offers new course in Salesforce Reporting Fundamentals

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — A Salesforce Reporting Fundamentals course, open to the public, will be offered for the first time at the Pennsylvania College of Technology in October.The course is aimed at administrators, business users and managers who use Salesforce computer software in their daily work. Participants will acquire the fundamental skills necessary to unlock the data held in Salesforce, thereby increasing the ability to make effective data-driven decisions.Participants will learn to create and customize four basic report formats: Tabular, Summary, Matrix and Joined, construct reports using the Report Builder, and display those reports on dashboards. Basic knowledge of Salesforce and the Sales Cloud is a prerequisite for the course, which will also delve into advanced report and dashboard configurations (such as creating formula fields).The class will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Center for Business & Workforce Development on the college’s main campus in Williamsport.
