Call for proposals for 2016 TLT Symposium now open

Penn State faculty and staff who are proud of their recent work in teaching with technology are invited to submit a presentation proposal for the 2016 TLT Symposium.

The TLT Symposium is an annual showcase of the most innovative ways Penn State faculty and staff leverages technology to enrich student learning. The symposium will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel, University Park.

Faculty and staff from every campus and college at Penn State are encouraged to submit their  proposal (or proposals) for consideration to present at the TLT Symposium by using the online form at http://symposium.tlt.psu.edu/proposals/. Proposals that align to the following topic areas are being sought: Active learning, learning spaces, scholarship of teaching and learning, Canvas, accessible & open education resources, and emerging technologies, designs, & processes (e.g., virtual reality, gamification, beam presence).

These sessions can be dynamic individual or group presentations, lively panel discussions, or engaging hands-on workshops. The absolute deadline to submit proposals is Nov. 9, 2015, and notification of acceptance will be made in December.

Registration is now open as well. There is no registration fee, and a full breakfast and lunch will be provided.
