YORK, Pa. -- Connect with the Penn State community to network and learn more about academic and career success at noon and 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, when a free Lion Linking program will take place at Penn State York. The program will be held in the rehearsal room of the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center and is open to Penn State alumni and current Penn State York students, faculty and staff.

Sara Becker, assistant director of Penn State Alumni Career Services at University Park, will talk about how networking with other Penn State alumni can be useful for anyone, regardless of career stage.

Through a discussion of strategies, etiquette and examples to help visualize the positive outcome in their own career, those in attendance will learn how to effectively use a variety of networking resources (LionLink, LinkedIn, etc.). With 177,000 members, the Penn State Alumni Association is the largest dues-paying organization of its kind in the world.

Lion Linking is made possible through collaboration between the Penn State York offices of Alumni Relations and Advising and Career Development, as well as Alumni Career Services at University Park. Registration is not required.
