Sexual harassment awareness workshop will conclude summer diversity series

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A workshop titled “Sexual Harassment: Awareness and Prevention” will cover the guidelines for understanding and preventing gender discrimination in the workplace.

The workshop, last in a series of summer diversity seminars, provides three objectives for participants: Define sexual harassment, understand the legal and procedural process for sexual harassment situations, and identify appropriate steps to be taken to help prevent, report and resolve issues.

Arranged by the Office of Affirmative Action, the final workshop will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 11 in 431 James M. Elliot Building.
