Mallison named Smeal MBA student services director

Ann Mallison has been promoted to student services director of the Penn State Smeal MBA Program. She formerly served as assistant director of admissions for the program.

“This new role provides opportunities to grow and improve a vital position in our program,” Mallison said. “I’m excited to take on new challenges and to work directly with our students and alumni.”

Mallison will be responsible for managing student and alumni services within the MBA Program and for select new Smeal graduate programs in the future. She will also coordinate the MBA social media presence (a role she previously held) and build in-person and online social communities.

“Alumni want to stay connected to and feel most fulfilled when helping current students,” said MBA Managing Director Carrie Marcinkevage. “Because of her history with the program, Ann is uniquely positioned to strengthen those connections. She brings fresh ideas into the role as we looked to reexamine and update its scope.”

Mallison graduated with a bachelor’s in finance from Villanova University in 1998 before, in 2002, earning an MBA from Smeal.
