UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Arboretum at Penn State will hold its annual plant sale from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (or while supplies last) on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17. The sale tent will be located on the lawn next to the parking lot of the H.O. Smith Botanic Gardens near the intersection of Park Avenue and Bigler Road.

Featured will be unusual trees, shrubs and perennials; hard-to-find Pennsylvania native plants; some of the best-performers in the H.O. Smith Botanic Gardens; and a few new-to-the-market selections.

On Friday, May 15, there will be a Friends and Founders Preview Sale and Reception, which is an invitation-only event. Anyone interested in attending the preview sale should contact Patrick Williams at 814-865-0441 or patrickwilliams@psu.edu.
