Penn State Lehigh Valley students, faculty and staff honored Chancellor Ann M. Williams with a flash mob during Finally Finished Fest on April 30.

As Williams, who is retiring June 30, walked out of the building into the courtyard, music started and to her surprise the Nittany Lion began dancing. Two students joined in a few beats later, followed by a bigger crowd of students, faculty and staff during the kick line. By the end of the flash mob, about 75 people total were doing the choreographed dance, which was organized to thank Williams for her 15 years of service to Penn State Lehigh Valley. It ended with a stirring chant of “We Are Penn State.”

Afterwards, Williams thanked everyone involved: “This will be a memory of the spirit of this place that will last forever.”
